Edmonton Oilers Lose Game 4 of Western Conference Semi-Finals

The Edmonton Oilers fell 5-3 to the Colorado Avalanche in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals on Tuesday night. The loss gives Colorado a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

The Oilers got off to a strong start, taking a 2-0 lead in the first period. However, the Avalanche stormed back with three goals in the second period to take the lead. The Oilers tied the game in the third period, but the Avalanche scored two more goals to seal the victory.

Connor McDavid led the Oilers with a goal and an assist. Leon Draisaitl and Evander Kane each added a goal. Cale Makar had two goals for the Avalanche, while Mikko Rantanen, Nathan MacKinnon, and Valeri Nichushkin each scored one.

The Oilers will now face elimination in Game 5 on Thursday night in Colorado. The game will be televised on ESPN at 8:00 PM MST.
